## Frequently Asked Questions

**Is this the Bolaven Loop or Pakse Loop?**
Yes. The Bolaven Plateau tour is often called the Bolaven Loop or the Pakse Loop, a circuit from Pakse across the plateau's waterfalls, coffee farms and villages. You can drive it over 1 to 4 days with a private driver.

**What is included in the private driver price?**
The price covers the private vehicle and driver, fuel, tolls and parking. It's the whole vehicle for up to 6 people, not a price per person. Meals, accommodation, site entrance fees and personal expenses are not included, so you only pay for what you use along the way.

**What is the group size, and what does "per vehicle" mean?**
You book the whole vehicle, not a seat. The minivan takes up to 6 people for one flat price. The tuk tuk on the 1-day tour takes up to 4, with $10 added for 5 to 6. Larger groups are possible with a second vehicle, just ask.

**Do I need to book a guide, or can I go with just a driver?**
A driver is all you need. You set the route and the pace and visit each site on your own. If you'd like a guide, meals or accommodation arranged, we can add an all-inclusive option on request.

**Which tour length should I choose?**
The 1-day tour covers the main waterfalls and a coffee farm close to Pakse. The 2-day adds Katu villages and a night at Tad Lo. The 3 and 4-day tours cross the whole plateau, with more villages, a night in Paksong, and free time at Tad Lo. Tell us your dates and we'll help you pick.

**Is this suitable for families with children?**
Yes. The pace is relaxed and set by you. Plateau roads are comfortable by minivan, the waterfalls are easy to reach, and the villages are interesting for all ages. Tell us the children's ages when you book and we'll adapt.

**Can I book last minute?**
Often yes. We drive daily from Pakse and can usually arrange a same-day or next-day tour depending on vehicle availability. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm quickly.

**What is the cancellation policy?**
A small deposit secures the booking. It's refundable up to 30 days before departure, less a $15 administration fee. Within 30 days of departure the deposit is non-refundable.
